I just left the Eric Massa chat blog and have to say how invigorating it is to have frank and open access to a candidate and his stance on a variety of issues.
I am also struck by how clear and fearless our non-career candidates have been. Contrast this with the mumble, mumble stance we get from so many career-ists. Thank you, Eric. I wish I was living in the 29th so I could vote for you. Instead I will send money to promote your candidacy. I wish you the best and know you will bring fresh and clear thinking to a congress mired in a directionless morass.
Kosacks, I have an idea that I would like to float. It occurs to me that we, and the candidates, would benefit from continuing exposure to this kind of information/access. While I know we have been promised future events like this, I am thinking that it would be very valuable to have a section, much like recommended diaries, for candidate blogs.
We would then have a central place to check in and to follow present and recent conversations.
What do you think?
